Arsenal star Bukayo Saka will start for England against Iran at the 2022 Qatar World Cup today ahead of Manchester City ace Phil Foden, according to The Daily Mail.

The report has claimed that England head coach Gareth Southgate has decided to include Saka in the starting lineup ahead of Foden against Iran in their opening game of the World Cup at the Khalifa Stadium.

Saka has been playing well for Arsenal on the right of a front-three.

Foden has also been doing well for defending champions Manchester City in the Premier League this campaign.

EXCITING FOR ARSENAL AND ENGLAND STAR BUKAYO SAKA

In our view, it must be very exciting for Bukayo Saka if the Arsenal star gets to start for England in their opening World Cup match.

The 21-year-old has been superb for club and county over the past several months, and we think that he deserves a place in the team today.

The £70,000-a-week (The Daily Mail) Arsenal ace is full of confidence now, and he has bounced back brilliantly from his disappointment in the Euro 2020 final where he could not convert a penalty in the shootout.
