According to Massimo Brambati, Paulo Dybala has allegedly struck an agreement with Arsenal to sign with them as a free agent this coming summer.
Since joining Juventus in 2015, the Argentine player, who Rory Smith has hailed as “amazing,” has established himself as one of the club’s most valuable contributors throughout that time. As a member of The Old Lady, he has appeared in 292 games throughout the course of his seven seasons in Turin and has been directly involved in 163 goals.
However, Dybala’s time at Juventus, where he has won 12 titles and is considered a great hero, will soon come to an end. It has been reported that Arsenal are quite interested in signing him after it was revealed that he would be departing the Allianz Stadium this summer.
Brambati says Paulo Dybala had an agreement with Arsenal
Speaking on TMW Radio, Brambati, who played for Torino, Empoli and Dybala’s old club Palermo in the past, said, as per TuttoJuve: “I knew that Dybala had an agreement with Arsenal.
“If they had gone to the Champions League, he would have sat at a table talking about it.”
Speaking about Dybala’s tearful goodbye to Juventus, Brambati said: “I do not understand the tears of a player who in November refused a contract from Juve of €7.5 million-plus bonuses.
“If you really wanted to stay, you didn’t do that and you accepted, and above all, you didn’t ask for €10 million.”
