Arsenal have identified Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus as a top target ahead of the summer transfer season, according to Fabrizio Romano in a conversation with a well-known journalist.
Arsenal are expected to strengthen their central attacking options this summer, as both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah’s contracts expire on June 30 and they will be free agents.
After new direct player-side contacts, Romano alleges that Jesus has been identified as one of the players participating. They have not, however, taken any formal action.
According to the Daily Mail, Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans is also a summer transfer target for the north London powerhouse. Champions League football might be important in attracting the Premier League duo to the United States this summer.
