Arsenal face West Ham United at the Olympic Stadium today, hoping to make it three victories in a row.

The Gunners bounced back from three straight losses against Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton by beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Manchester United at the Emirates in four days.

It’s been a much-needed reaction after managerMikel Arteta came under fire from Arsenal fans for playing Granit Xhaka at left-back against Brighton.

But it looks that the Spaniard has gone back to basics, with the left-back high and wide with a double pivot.

Nuno Tavares scored his first goal for the club against Manchester United on Saturday after being allowed the opportunity to play in the final third. Xhaka and Mohammed Elneny have lately forged an excellent engine room combo, providing both offensive and defensive consistency.

It’s reasonable to anticipate the former Manchester City assistant manager to keep the same dynamics for today’s game. Concerns were raised regarding Bukayo Saka’s fitness for the London derby, but Arteta assured that ‘he’s recovered well’.

Takherio Tomiyasu, who returned from a calf injury last weekend, is expected to start in place of Cedric Soares.
So, let’s take a look at Arteta’s whole team.

Goalkeepers: Aaron Ramsdale, Bernd Leno, Arthur Okonkwo
