According to The Daily Star, Arsenal are in a bidding war with Manchester United and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City for Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse. Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are up against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City are all interested in acquiring midfielder Ward-Prowse from Premier League rivals Southampton during the summer transfer window. Ward-Prowse is currently on loan at Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are also said to be interested in signing the 27-year-old free-kick expert, according to reports in the United Kingdom.

According to the Sun, Ward-Prowse would cost £75 million, and new Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has shown a personal interest in signing him and has already got approval from his club’s upper management to proceed with the transfer.

This year’s England international is playing at the peak of his career and is a highly capable box-to-box midfielder.
