Spanish outlet La Razon claim Arsenal are ready to include Alexandre Lacazette in a deal to sign Sevilla powerhouse Youssef En-Nesyri soon.
Avid Premier League fans may recall the Morocco international’s name after being strongly linked with a move to West Ham, back in January.
Back in the summer, La Razon stated that West Ham were winning the race to sign 24-year-old En-Nesyri. They are clearly still interested in the striker.
The Morocco international scored 24 goals in 52 games last season, and already has two this term. Reports this month say Arsenal are now keen.
La Razon now say that Lacazette is wanted at Sevilla and Arsenal are planning to take advantage of that interest in the France international.
The Gunners want to use Lacazette. He is out of contract next summer, to strike a deal with Sevilla – and sign African ace En-Nesyri.
En-Nesyri to Arsenal: Player-plus-cash deal would be good business
En-Nesyri is a stunning player. He is the perfect number nine in the modern game, a proper talisman – scores goals, holds the ball-up, a lynchpin.
While he has a release clause in his contract worth £68million, as per Sempre Inter, Sevilla are likely to be looking at a fee slightly below that.
Reports suggest that En-Nesyri is rated in the region of £50million to £60million. But including Lacazette kills two birds with one stone.
Bringing some cash in for Lacazette, or using him to get another player, is key. Maybe £40million, and Lacazette, for En-Nesyri, would be stunning.
