Arsenal defender, Hector Bellerin, is reportedly desperate to push through what is referred to as a ‘dream’ move to Inter Milan this summer.
The Spaniard is one of a number of players who can leave the Gunners during the summer window. But as yet, Arsenal have yet to accept an offer from Inter, despite interest.
It’s believed Arsenal want a loan to buy deal, with Inter so far just offering a straight loan due to their financial situation.
But despite the stand-off, Tuttomercatoweb report that Bellerin is still determined to seal the move. In fact, he’s so willing, that he will sacrifice a chunk in wages to do so.
Bellerin currently earns around £110k-a-week in London. But TMW claims he is ready and willing to drop that to around the £70k-a-week mark.
It’s stated that Bellerin has an ‘authentic dream’ of living and playing in Milan.
Matter of time
Like some other outgoings at Arsenal, this seems to be a matter of time in all honesty. Bellerin wants out, the club want him out, and Inter want him.
At the moment, it’s simply down to Arsenal looking for the best deal they can possibly get. And in fairness, you can’t blame them for digging heels.
Bellerin has been a fine servant at Arsenal but in the midst of the Arteta and Edu revolution, he’s one who can go. A move to Inter is perfect for him.
He’ll be hoping, then, that this is simply a matter of patience.
