Fabrizio Romano claims Arsenal are yet to hold talks with ‘great player’ who wants return to club

Aaron Ramsey wants a return to the Premier League after becoming unhappy in Turin during his spell with Juventus, whom he joined in 2019.

According to Fabrizio Romano, whilst the midfielder wants to return to the English top-flight, there is nothing in reports over a move to Arsenal. Speaking on talkSPORT, the famed Italian journalist claimed the Welshman is unhappy due to a lack of playing time with the Old Lady.

Ramsey has endured a frustrating time with the Serie A giants of late and has started just one of the last eight games in the Italian top division since returning from a thigh injury.

When talking about Ramsey and the transfer situation surrounding him, Romano said: “At the moment there is nothing [on Ramsey returning to Arsenal]. He’s hoping to come back to the Premier League. He’s not happy in Juventus, he’s not playing. So obviously he wants to come back to the Premier League. At the moment there is nothing with Arsenal.”
