Arsenal have stated that Thomas Partey is ‘progressing well’ with his injury and will be monitored ahead of the game against Manchester City.
Partey has missed the last two Arsenal games, and will be out of the game against City as well with a hamstring injury.
The Ghana International moved from Atletico Madrid to the Gunners in the summer, but injuries have stunted his progress since his move. Partey picked up a knock in the 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa, and was pictured in training on Saturday after, but not with the main group.
The defensive Midfielder will be assessed before the game on Sunday, but it is very unlikely the player has any game time.
‘Thomas is progressing well from a strain to his hamstring against Aston Villa on 6 February and will continue to be assessed ahead of Sunday’s match,’ an update from the Gunners read.
