Arsenal has opened up an investigation over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang breaking the club’s strict Covid-19 protocols, after images of the striker getting a tattoo emerged.
The Gabon International tattoo artist Alejandro Nicolas Bernal posted a video of himself and the striker getting a tattoo on Instagram, which prompted the club official to release a statement, saying they will have a conversation with the talisman to clarify the situation.
An Arsenal spokesperson shared a statement regarding Aubameyang’s tattoo, saying: ‘We will speak to the player to remind him of his responsibilities and establish what has taken place.’
The tattooist has since stated the pictures and images released on Instagram were separate events in 2019, before the pandemics.
Arsenal will take no action until they clarify the matter on where and when the event took place, after a new tattoo was noticed on the front of Aubameyang hands during Valentine two days ago, which will be a breach of the government guidelines of all mobile and static tattoo parlours remaining closed during the pandemic, if found guilty.
