Latest Arsenal transfer news: David makes decision, four-year Kurzawa deal, Elneny exit

The latest transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad at the Emirates Stadium.

The summer promises to be an essential time for Arsenal.

The Gunners are still reeling from another embarrassing defeat at the weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion.

That has forced some supporters to look forward and speculate about what changes the club have planned.

Greek giants want Elneny

Olympiacos have identified Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny as a possible transfer target, according to Greek newspaper Sportime .

Elneny, 27, joined the Gunners from Swiss side Basel in 2016 but has struggled to look convincing and was loaned to Turkish side Besiktas last summer with a view to a permanent deal.

Now it would appear that Olympiacos, who knocked Arsenal out of the Europa League, are eager to sign the Egyptian international.

Greek newspaper Sportime, via Sdna , are reporting the interest, with the club viewing Elneny as a potential replacement for Mady Camara.

Elneny is contracted to Arsenal until 2022, but he is unlikely to have a future under Arteta.

Arsenal target makes transfer decision

Jonathan David has dealt a blow to Arsenal after deciding he wants his career to continue in Germany.

David, 20, was born in the United States but chose to represent Canada at international level and has been in fine form for Gent this season, scoring 23 goals and notching ten assists in all competitions.

That has seen him draw interest from Arsenal and Chelsea as well as a clutch of clubs across Europe. Belgian newspaper HLN claim the Gunners and Manchester United held initial talks with the player’s agent, but he has now made a decision on his future.

The same outlet claims David is determined to join a Bundesliga club and will not consider a different league.

PSG offer Arsenal target four-year deal

Layvin Kurzawa has been handed the chance to stay at PSG, a ccording to France Football .

Kurzawa, 27, joined PSG from Monaco in 2015 and is in the final few weeks of his contract with the French giants.

It was expected that he would leave the Parc des Princes this summer on a free transfer, with Arsenal reported as a potential destination.

Those plans have been altered by the news that PSG have made the player an offer of a new four-year deal that would double his wages.

This comes just days after a report Le10 Sport claimed that Carlo Ancelotti was ready to bring the defender to Goodison Park.
