Lacazette decision as Torreira and Pepe start – Arsenal predicted line ups against Everton

Arsenal face Everton on Sunday, as the race for a top four spot heats up.

Both sides come into the Emirates clash on the back of a victory in their last outing, with the Gunners beating Newcastle 4-0 last weekend.

The visitors meanwhile, are putting together an impressive run of form under Carlo Ancelotti, and have the chance to increase their lead over the Gunners with a victory in north London.

Mikel Arteta has several decision to make regarding his line-up, with the Gunners only having two days’ rest after their exertions in Greece.

The 1-0 Europa League win over Olympiacos came at a cost, with Sokratis coming off injured, while there will be tired bodies after the trip.

So how will the Arsenal XI look against Everton? We asked our team to take a look.

Three clean sheets in a row for Arsenal, for that reason alone there is no reason to tinker with a successful formula and that means the same back five which started against Newcastle.

Dani Ceballos was impressive in the second half last week and Arteta could be tempted to give the Spaniard another run out in a deeper role alongside Granit Xhaka.

Although, if Lucas Torreira is over his bout with the flu then there’s a tough decision to make.

Mesut Ozil and Nicolas Pepe should also return to the starting lineup, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has to play through the middle.

It’s tough on Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, but there’s a better balance with Gabriel Martinell operating from the left and getting the club’s leading scorer central.

Arsenal XI: Leno; Bellerin, Mustafi, Luiz, Saka; Ceballos, Xhaka; Pepe, Ozil, Martinelli; Aubameyang
