Arsenal fans have a new hero after Dani Ceballos impressed on his full debut.
The Real Madrid loanee was named in Unai Emery’s team for the lunchtime clash against Burnley having made a cameo appearance in last Sunday’s win at Newcastle.
He grabbed his first assist for the club on 12 minutes after picking out Alexandre Lacazette, who held off the Burnley defence to fire past Nick Pope.
Ceballos continued to wow the Emirates Stadium faithful with his flicks and tricks while spraying passes about in midfield.
Arsenal were pegged back by the break, however, as Ashley Barnes turned the ball home from six yards after Dwight McNeill’s deflected shot fell at his feet.
Ceballos played an important role in the Gunners’ second goal, recovering the ball for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to slalom towards the Burnley net and beat Pope from range.
Arsenal fans were quick to praise the Spaniard for his man of the match performance.
Imagine Zidane, Makelele and Cazorla as one player. Well that’s Dani Ceballos

Dani Ceballos is what Manchester United fans think Paul Pogba is.

Ceballos is a player. What a game he had today.
Constantly draws free-kicks, his shoulder drops and close-control dribbling with both feet are excellent, good passer and a couple of nice efforts at goal too.

Polite reminder that I got Dani Ceballos for free. Next time I knock on Real Madrid's door we're taking him for good. That's a promise.

It’s still too early to get carried away by Dani but so far so good he’s got us licking our lips.
