Arsenal have announced the signing of Nicolas Pepe on a 5 year contract.
The Ivorian was subject to interest from a host of clubs including the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Napoli but was eventually snapped up by the Gunners.
His £72m fee will make him the third most expensive signing in the Premier League and Arsenal’s record transfer signing.
Welcome to The Arsenal, Nicolas Pepe 🤩

Pepe becomes Arsenal’s fourth signing of the summer after deals for Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Dani Ceballos were previously completed.
With the Pepe deal done Arsenal will be looking to complete deals for Kieran Tierney and if possible a center back as well.
There is only a week left in the transfer window and we expect signings to be over the coming days if there’s any to be done.
Pepe will join Aubameyang and Lacazette to form a very lethal looking Arsenal attack.
Arsenal will face Barcelona on Sunday in their final preseason game and It’s not impossible the new signing is given a run of minutes.
He is however well on course to be in the lineup against Newcastle on the opening day of the season.
More to follow.
