Arsenal are reportedly one of four sides who have agreed a deal for Lille star Nicolas Pepe – but will he choose to move to the Emirates?
According to French outlet L’Equipe, cited by GFFN, Arsenal, along with Inter Milan, Napoli and Premier League rivals Liverpool, have all agreed on an €80 million deal for the Ivorian attacker.
It now looks set to be up to the player on his preferred destination, so will he choose the Gunners?
The 24-year-old scored 23 times in all competitions last season and could replicate that figure next season with ease if he chooses to move to London.
The wide man would be playing alongside the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack, with Mesut Ozil and Dani Ceballos options to play in behind the exciting front three.
Pepe would certainly enjoy the quality of players around him, which could tempt him to move to the club and challenge for the Premier League under Unai Emery.
However, the only thing that could seriously hinder a potential move to Arsenal is no Champions League football on offer from the Gunners.
It remains to be seen as to where the African star will end up, however, it looks as if one possible destination could be the Emirates in a club-record deal following the latest news.
